21/12/2013     Cavern Review - Connie Lush Band
Connie Lush and her new band put on one terrific show last night for their annual trip to The Cavern. She was in great voice and had Steve Wright in terrific form on lead/rhythm guitar, ably assisted by Terry Harris on bass and Roy Martin on drums. Her repertoire included some old standards "for the girls" with a twinkling of Christmas Crackers mixed into the set. The large crowd were very enthusiastic and thoroughly enjoyed what I consider to be one of the best blues shows of the year in Liverpool. This new band takes Blues Shouter to another level. Don't miss them, if they come to a venue near your town.
